The Account Manager will manage an assigned account or multiple small accounts, and the Account Supervisors assigned to each account. Specific responsibilities include work scheduling of all account personnel, establishing work standards, conducting site evaluations, audits, overall inventory/equipment usage, budget control, employee performance appraisals, troubleshooting/problem solving, orientation, training of Account Supervisors and support personnel, customer relations, and special project work as requested. This individual will also ensure that all managed services are being provided in a proper and cost-effective manner.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

• Supervise 9 cleaners, 1 Floor Technicians and 1 Supervisor daily
• Oversee the daily cleaning operations of John Deere (M-F 1^st & 2^nd shift)
• Consistently review employee work schedules and adjust per the needs of the customer
• Ensure compliance with Scope of Work
• Complete all work within cleaning specifications
• Ability to correspond via email
• Ability to coordinate, plan and schedule project work
• Create strong safety culture and implement weekly/monthly safety training requirements of ABM and also of the client
• Up to date with the most efficient cleaning techniques and ensure that staff is trained in those techniques
• Conduct weekly inspections using web based application on phone
• Responsible to provide consistent coaching and provide disciplinary action when needed
• Able to work 2:00pm-10:30pm (2nd Shift) (M-F)
• On call as needed to handle emergency situations
• Hours 40 hours per week, however this could flex as this position is salaried and depending on need

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

• Must possess at least 3 - 5 years’ experience in a supervisory capacity. 
• Experience in hard surface floor care and carpet cleaning preferred
• Experience in Bathroom Cleaning preferred
• Must be proficient in Microsoft word and Microsoft Excel with ability to navigate excel spreadsheets with simple formulas
• Strong communication skills and ability to communicate well with client via written and oral communication.
• Self motivated with good work ethic and strong organizational skills, and reliable
• Must be able to provide verifiable previous employment history
